Three Ships Whisky Bourbon Cask Finish is the first 100% South African whisky, with the malt and grain components distilled in both pot and column stills and then matured at The James Sedgwick Distillery
Nose: Candy shop, wood with freshly painted lacquered. Chocolate, vanilla, boiled fruits and cherry liqueur.
Palette : Pickled ginger, hefty wood, peppery, gummish with tinge of charred oak sulphur.
Finish: Medium, peppery and solvent, prickly.
The James Sedgwick Distillery was established in 1886 and continues to set the bar for South African whiskies and innovation in the whisky industry.
