Nose - Malty nose, red fruit with notes of varnish, tobacco, and spicy Jamaican ginger cake.
Palate - Creamy mouthfeel, thick,and then so nutty, walnuts, marzipan, and some ginger spice.
Finish - Long and nutty, amazing texture which goes on and on.
The Springbank distillery produces three uniquely different Scotch single malts: Longrow, Hazelburn and Springbank. The difference is achieved by using Springbank's three stills in different combinations as well as adjusting the peat levels. Springbank is lightly peated and distilled two-and-a-half times.
