STRATHSPEY ~ SCOTLAND
The Kinloch Malt, Strathspey, is a wonderful blended malt whisky from the Speyside region of Scotland. Strathspey is the Gaelic term used to describe the heartland of whisky distillation in Scotland.

Nose - An initial treacle toffee aroma which soon resolves into sweet vanilla sponge. It benefits from water (and it can take a lot) but remains peppery. The aroma is now more fruity – pear drops & peach stones.
Mouth - The mouth-feel is smooth and the taste sweet with a warming, medium-length finish. The sweetness is increased with water, which also develops the soft, mouth-filling texture.
Finish - A perfectly drinkable Speyside whisky of the lighter style.
